IT WAS FIFTY YEARS AGO TODAY… BY GISÈLE CLARK

Fans des Beatles, rendez-vous à Mons le 14 octobre prochain pour la trentième édition du Beatles Day. Pour célébrer cet anniversaire, le festival entièrement dédié aux Fab’Four se déroulera dans le Théâtre Royal sur la Grand Place. Un programme musical continu (de dix heures à minuit) auquel participent les meilleurs artistes du genre, qui fédère tout ce qui touche de près ou de loin à l’univers des Beatles (conférences, foire aux vinyles, livres, memorabilia, etc.).

L’album Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band sera bien entendu mis en évidence pour son 50e anniversaire. Les billets sont en prévente et sans frais au prix de 22 € pour les adultes et 17 € pour les étudiants (gratuit pour les moins de 12 ans) sur le site beatlesday.be, où vous retrouverez aussi le programme de la journée.
