Non, confirme de nouveau la Cour de cassation dans un arrêt du 12 septembre 2018 (Cass. soc. n° 16-26.333), puisque les dispositions relatives au licenciement ne s’appliquent pas à la période d’essai. La Cour de cassation a donc considéré que c’est à bon droit que la cour d’appel a jugé que la rupture de la période d’essai de la salariée ne lui permettait pas de prétendre à une indemnisation au titre du préavis. ■
